It all started in a backyard in Franklin, Indiana. Joe — a self-taught cook with an obsession for perfectly spiced fried chicken — spent years refining his signature blend of cayenne, paprika, and secret spices. Friends and neighbors would line up at his doorstep every weekend, leaving happily full and thoroughly satisfied.
In 2018, Joe took the leap and opened the first hangry joe's kitchen. What began as a 400-square-foot operation quickly became a local legend. The word spread fast: the chicken was unlike anything else — fiery, flavorful, and cooked with genuine care.
